Last weekend, we were in Nashville for a friend's wedding. Of course, while we were there we did some shopping! We don't have a LUSH near where we live, so it was one of the first places I wanted to go to. I love taking baths. Whenever I am feeling stressed, tired, or down for any reason, I take a bath to relax. LUSH products are my favorite. There are so many options, and the wonderful colors and fragrances always lift my mood! Typically, I just order products online - which is fine - however, it is so nice to be able to actually smell the products, rather than going off of the descriptions. I smelled every bath product (bomb, melt, and bubble bar) that the store had, and I chose my 5 favorites. I will break these up so I get between two and four uses out of each one. I also picked up a mask, as I had never tried a LUSH face mask before!
Floating Island - this bath melt smells like vanilla, sandalwood, and lemon. It creates a relaxing, fizzy bath. I love that it isn't too sweet, like a lot of the other products I gravitate towards. ($7.95)
MMM Melting Marshmallow Moment - this bath melt contains almond oil, cocoa butter, and chamomile. It is sweet smelling, like marshmallow candy, and it creates a lovely moisturizing pink bath. ($7.95)
The Comforter - this bubble bar creates a very bubbly, purple bath. It contains blackcurrant, which smells like berry candy. This one is larger, so I can get between 3 and 4 baths out of it! ($10.95)
Phoenix Rising - this bath bomb creates a fizzy spicy apple and cinnamon bath. Whereas most of the other bath products I choose are calming, this bath bomb is energizing. It has a spicy, citrus-y scent that is very refreshing. It also contains jojoba oil and shea butter, so it is moisturizing as well. ($6.95)
Honey Bee - this bath bomb creates a warm, honey-toffee, orange bath. This one is particularly relaxing and is great for soothing dry skin. It contains aloe and honey, so it gently cleanses and softens the skin. ($6.45)
Mask of Magnaminty - I had never tried a LUSH face mask, but I have heard great things about this one. It's not one of the fresh masks, so it doesn't have to be kept in the refrigerator. It contains clay, peppermint, vanilla, and honey. It is deeply cleansing and cooling. It does not irritate my sensitive skin, and it's gently enough to be used several times a week. It also contains aduki beans, but I find that they are so gentle that they do not do much it terms of exfoliation. I put it all over my face, chest, and back and leave it on during my bath. I have used this mask several times, and I am loving it so far! ($24.95)
Do you love LUSH? What are the next products I should try out?
