What's Cooking?
My recipes are for two people, but we have leftovers most of the time. I plan meals that are quick, healthy, and easy!
Typically, we go to the grocery store every two weeks and get everything we can for twp weeks of meals. If necessary, we may do a quick stop by the store to pick something up for a meal that can’t be bought in advance. I also buy some items in bulk, such as chicken breasts, which I buy when they are buy one, get one free. Our goal for all groceries for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks for the two of us is $100 per week. I do leave a few days out (mostly weekends since we’re often with family or friends), so that I can guarantee we don’t waste our leftovers. I also always keep quick and easy options on hand for nights that we have a lot going on (such as frozen pizza, frozen black bean burgers, pasta, and salad).
