Last week, we moved into a new apartment. Moving is never fun - in fact I heard it was ranked as one of the most stressful activities. So as you can imagine I had so much fun... Anyways, we're all moved in, and the decorating process has begun. I am working on a little bit at a time, and I am very happy with how it is turning out so far. I still have a lot of organizing to do, but I am getting there!
Since Delilah and Willow were getting a break, I figured I deserved one too. So I took 45 minutes to pamper myself. I started by running a bath. I absolutely love baths. My new bathroom is much larger than the previous, and it has a large tub perfect for baths! (Definitely one of the biggest selling points for this place!) I used the Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Lavendar Vanilla Luxury Bath and the Lavendar Vanilla Body Wash & Foam Bath. They create a calm, fragrant bath with lots of bubbles. I also lit two mini Bath & Body Works candles in Lavendar Vanilla and Vanilla Cupcake. |
While my bath was filling up, I applied an overnight hair mask to the bottom half of my hair and twisted it up into a bun. Then, I used a facial scrub (the Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub) and applied a face mask. I used the GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment. I then enjoyed a 20-min skin-softening soak in my relaxing bath. I used my exfoliating gloves to give myself a good scrub! After my bath, I applied a thick layer of Vanilla Bliss Body Butter by the Body Shop. |
It was so nice to have an evening to myself (well, almost, haha). Taking even just a small amount of time to take care of yourself really makes a difference in your mood and stress level. I am now refreshed and ready to get back to my HUGE to do list!
